Plastic Injection Molding

We are pioneers in providing plastic injection molding capabilities ranging from 120 – 2200 tons.

What is Plastic Injection Molding?

Plastic injection molding is a manufacturing process used to produce plastic parts by injecting molten plastic into a mold. It’s widely used for mass production of complex plastic shapes, ranging from small components to large items. Here’s how the process works:

  • Material Preparation: Plastic pellets or granules are fed into a barrel of an injection molding machine.
  • Melting: The material is heated in the barrel until it becomes molten and reaches a thick, sticky consistency between solid and liquid flowing state.
  • Injection: The molten plastic is injected into a mold cavity under high pressure through a nozzle. The mold is typically made of two halves that come together to form the shape of the part.
  • Cooling: Once the mold is filled, the plastic cools and solidifies to take the shape of the mold.
  • Ejection: After cooling, the mold opens, and the solid plastic part is ejected.

The process is highly efficient for producing large volumes of parts with consistent quality, and it allows for the use of a wide range of plastic materials. This technique is used in various industries, including automotive, electronics, consumer goods, and medical devices.
